MERRIDEW FOUNDATION

Launceston PCYC Thanks the Merridew Foundation for Their Ongoing Support

We are delighted to announce that the Merridew Foundation has once again shown their unwavering commitment to our youth by sponsoring Launceston PCYC with a generous donation of $25,000 for the 2025/26 financial year.

This continued support is vital in ensuring our key youth programs remain accessible to young people in our community.

Thanks to the Merridew Foundation, we can continue to provide safe, supportive, and engaging programs that equip young people with essential life skills, build resilience, and create opportunities for growth and connection. Without this generosity, many youth would miss out on these life-changing experiences.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Merridew Foundation for their ongoing belief in our mission. Their steadfast support continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people across Launceston.

Thank you, Merridew Foundation, for standing alongside us and empowering the next generation.

A Monumental Milestone for Launceston PCYC!

We are absolutely thrilled to share another incredible chapter in the history of Launceston PCYC – the continued support of ACL Bearing Company, who have once again committed to sponsoring our Mobile Activity Centre (MAC) program for the 2025/26 financial year.

ACL Bearings has been a steadfast supporter of our community for over two decades, and their investment in the MAC program has touched countless lives. From their initial purchase of the MAC trailer in 1999, to the full refurbishment last year, and now their ongoing sponsorship, ACL’s commitment has ensured that young people across northern Tasmania continue to have access to fun, safe, and engaging programs.

Their support has enabled the MAC to deliver vital programs in Mayfield, Rocherlea, George Town, Ravenswood, and Waverley, bringing activity, connection, and opportunity directly into the heart of our communities.

This year also marks 25 years of the MAC program – a remarkable milestone made possible through ACL’s vision and generosity.

We also proudly acknowledge the incredible dedication of Mark Brown, who has served as the MAC program coordinator for over 20 years. Mark’s passion, energy, and commitment to young people have been central to the success and longevity of this program.

A heartfelt thank you to Chris Brooks, General Manager of ACL Bearing Company, for your continued belief in Launceston PCYC, and to our Board President, Shae Collis, for your leadership and support.

Together, we celebrate 25 years of impact, growth, and community connection – and with ACL Bearing Company by our side, we look forward to many more years of empowering young people through the MAC program.

Here’s to the future of Launceston PCYC, the MAC, and the incredible community we serve!
